Discover Your Career in Design

Art and design might seem like skills that come naturally to people, and in some cases they do, but the most skilled designers have all had technical training as well. When you attend the Art Institute of Ohio - Cincinnati and obtain your Associate's or Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Design, you will have the opportunity to learn more skills, refine the talents, you already have, and build a portfolio of work that you will be proud of.

The Graphic Design program starts with the basics - color, texture, and design - and helps you apply theory and history to modern-day design problems. You will learn to design in print, by using electronic media, and in three dimensions - all of which will go into your final portfolio. A strong core of fine art skills is supplemented by training in electronic presentation, communication, and how to put your skills to work in the career world.

An Interior Design degree from the Art Institute of Ohio - Cincinnati will put you on a path to working in any number of types of companies. From architectural detailing to retail design, you will learn to put your vision to work by using the latest technological tools.
