Interior Design (BFA)
Interior designers create the spaces in which we live and work everyday. They are design professionals dedicated to making these spaces aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The Art Institute of Ohio - Cincinnati offers both an Associate of Applied Science degree and a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in interior design.
The Interior Design program at The Art Institute of Ohio ó Cincinnati provides students with a solid core of specialized courses that focus on development of practical skills including drawing, perspective, proportion, color theory and basic design. Students can then move on to more advanced areas of 2-D and 3-D computer-aided interior design, architectural detailing, environmental systems along with furniture, accessory and lighting design.
The interior design program available at The Art Institute of Ohio - Cincinnati places emphasis on the development of all areas of three-dimensional design for both residential and commercial spaces. The graduates not only enter the real world with an extensive knowledge of interior design but an astute sense of business, allowing them to obtain entry-level positions in in the exciting field of interior design.
