Media Arts & Animation (BFA)
Today media arts and animation is used in various industries including architecture, television, advertising, education, and forensics. At The Art Institute of Ohio - Cincinnati creative students can pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree through the Media Arts and Animation program. Here you can learn the many in demand skills required to obtain an exciting position including design, illustration, compositing, and 3-D computer modeling, story development, background design, scenic layout, and special effects.
Through the Media Arts & Animation program students develop a strong foundation in drawing, design, and illustration in order to produce traditional 2-D formats. Youíll then move on to computer generated 3-D animation that will make your characters and objects come alive. Throughout the course you will be creating your personal portfolio that will demonstrate your knowledge of media arts and animation to potential employers.
Graduates of The Art Institute of Ohio - Cincinnati Media Arts & Animation program are prepared for entry-level positions in animation, computer animation, digital media production, special effects art, background design, computer art, layout art or video game art.
